I had a chance to meet Deidre when I was visiting Alcatraz in May 2012. She is a delight and you can see she is proud to be a Capone. I have read most of her book and was surprised to get another point of view. Now I'm not saying Al Capone is completely innocent, but I also don't believe he ever received a fair shake (even before I read her book). Stories of the Capone family are all over, but it's nice to see a piece from the family. I just wish the rest of the family was able to share their stories as well.
